Hi! If you’re new here, my name is Karen Maniraho and I’m a writer, creative strategist, and producer currently based in New York.

I started my career in digital media where I developed a passion for creating original visual stories that are thoughtful in dialogue and diverse in content. Since then, I’ve written and produced for several publishing outlets including Cut.com, NowThis News, and AJ+. I’ve also created campaigns and managed creative strategy as a copywriter and communications professional.

My work has been featured in BuzzFeed News, Columbia Journalism Review, HuffPost, OkayAfrica, and more. Each project has shaped my belief that storytelling plays an essential role in transforming our world for the better.
